This is what I would be wearing to New York Fashion Week if:

a. was actually going
b. was guaranteed to be spared the humiliation of standing in the cattle class queue until every other thomasina, dickensia and harriet plus their pa, children, enormous designer bags and ego were safely tucked into their seats
c. had the means to procure more than a £6 pair of shoes from the charity shop (and that is being frivolous)
d. didn't spend 6 months of the year in the same cashmere jumper in order to keep warm

without further ado, we are now kicking off fleur's phantom fashion weeks in style, here is what I will be working in New York

day 1: corpse bride

white lace dress, £79, a most controversial choice from dubious fashion retailer kaleidoscope (the number 1 choice of bloggers everywhere...not!) i love an unlikely hero
dead girl necklace, £8.50, kreepsville 666
clutch (out of control), £598, butler & wilson
hounds (of the baskervilles) tooth coat, £75, topshop
bouquet shoes, £62.99, Irregular Choice (and it really is)
acid wedding ring, £195, mawi

day 2: stepford clubber

rose garden trousers, £119, ted baker
respectable pastel coat, £79.99, zara
subversive mint lace shirt, £45, warehouse
prim and proper ice queen earrings, £35, hobbs
dance aroundable handbag, £159 ted baker
tab holographic platforms, £64.95, bank

tune in tomorrow if you want to see me as a cyborg flapper and peter deadpan!

a special shout out to warehouse and ted baker (don't be put off by the drag queened up faces that greet you on the homepage!) for their heroic new collections, more airtime coming your way very soon!

Or better still, come see the Rebellishment style agency and Store!  New stock on Fridays :)
